Schumann writes a piano concerto and turns it into a love-letter to his adored wife. Brahms’ looks deep into his soul and finds both tragedy and wonder in his last and noblest symphony. Tonight, it’s all about the emotions, as RSNO Music Director Thomas Søndergård wears his heart on his sleeve and welcomes Anna Vinnitskaya – a pianist who brings a special poetry to every note she plays.
